BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
Police said the woman accused in two shootings, one that left a 55-year-old man dead, turned herself in to authorities Thursday night.
The Baton Rouge Police Department said Tameka Johnson, 29, was booked with second-degree murder.
Investigators said the first shooting happened around 3 p.m. Johnson is accused of shooting a 51-year-old man in the 200 block of West Grant Street.
She then allegedly stole his bicycle and rode to the 200 block of West Polk Street, where Tyrone Clark, 55, was shot as he stood in the front yard of a vacant house. He later died.
The 51-year-old victim was taken to the hospital. He is expected to survive.
Detectives said Johnson and the two victims had a previous altercation, which led to the shootings.
