WALKER, LA (WAFB) -
Authorities have arrested a suspect who they believe robbed a small Walker, Louisiana grocery store Tuesday morning.
It happened at Babe's Corner Grocery & Deli in Walker around 10:15 a.m.
The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office said the suspect was believed to be armed when he jumped the counter, grabbed cash from the cash register and ran out.
Witnesses say the suspect left the store in a pickup with two other people inside.
John Shelton, 22, has been arrested and was booked on charges of principal to armed robbery. He is being held on a $100,000 bond.
